Guestimated length on exit 40m, somewhat more than the guide book 27m! Had we just extended it? What ever we will next visit, 2m easy capping to corner and open beyond. Good stream, drafting inward, another Odmire?

Speedy research from BPC reveals that we have almost certainly extended cave as previously known. One trip was made where they stated that “sump no longer present and small extension made past several tight bends to where the way on was too tight”. Sump? What Sump? Monday 19th June 2006 Dave Ramsay, Richard Bendall A little overnight rain and drizzle in the morning but things looked ok. Approach to bend enlarged and almost able to wriggle round but not quite. A few more holes and we’ll pass it no problem. Ahead oxbow joins from left and passage regains caveable dimensions. Draft today out. Thursday 22nd June 2006 Dave Ramsay, Richard Bendall. Short trip to survey. Previous rain brought worries but no need as constant flow would suggest not influenced by local showers. Survey completed to start of capped out section. Decided to try negotiating bend, and slipped throught no problems. 4m to right hand bend and another 4m to acute left hand bend.
