Pete, Dave, Ruth… After you went Dave I finished capping and had a push at the end. Got to the left hand corner we could see and it looks much better going forward. It’s been a good weekend for the Lords Top faithful.. I mentioned during the week a 50ft solo progress through two muddy tubes to open crawlway. Well saturday saw the team push round the next corner to another low bedding with the stream running over gravel, in front an encouraging echo. Lugger, Dave & I surveyed all the main passages on sunday. The totals I received from Lugger were in feet (‘cos they sound bigger?). 1053ft long and 198ft deep or 320x60m in new money. We had a quick poke around the leads and dicovered that the only real way on is a low bedding which requires digging and its in the main stream!
